the Gundecha Brothers have agreed
to my plan of bringing them to the Middle Kingdom
they fly to Beijing from Melbourne in October
I meet them, we hob-nob, they sing, I smile
only then will India consent
to take me again in her hushed embrace
am spending time with my parents yes --
right now en route to lunching w/ same
they both take daily infusions of dark medicine
brewed with antiquity floating in suspension
